Fed, Powell: "There is always a possibility of recession, but the probability is not high"

Milan, March 19 (LaPresse) – "There is always an unconditional possibility of a recession. Looking back over the years, the chance of a recession can range from 1 in 4 at any given time. It could happen within four Mondays. A 1 in 4 chance of a recession." This was stated by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at a press conference following the FOMC meeting, adding that "if you go back two months, people were saying that the probability of a recession was extremely low. So it has shifted, but it is not high."
