Naples: 2.5 tonnes of illegal fireworks seized, 2 arrests

Milan, 20 Dec. (LaPresse) – As part of intensified efforts to combat the manufacture and sale of illegal and dangerous fireworks, officers from the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Financial Police) in Naples seized over 300,000 fireworks, weighing a total of 2.5 tonnes, and reported seven individuals on various charges, including receiving stolen goods, illegal manufacture or trade in explosive materials, failure to report explosive materials and non-compliance with public safety regulations, two of whom were arrested in flagrante delicto.
