Volcker Lifetime Achievement Award. ‘The ECB has a mandate and its primary objective is price stability, which cannot be separated from financial stability. In our strategic review, we defined price stability as a symmetric target of 2% in the medium term, and we are already at that target. Completing the mission means consolidating this result and testing it over time, particularly with regard to certain fundamental reforms,’ Lagarde added.
