Campobasso, 23 March (LaPresse) – Molise is the region with the most expensive diesel in Italy. According to data from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport updated on 23 March, the average self-service price has reached €2.005 per litre, the highest figure in the country. Behind Molise are Campania (€2.002) and Calabria (€2.000), whilst most regions remain below the €2 threshold. This figure comes against a backdrop of rising prices following the temporary drop linked to the excise duty cut, with possible effects linked to the Iran-Israel/US conflict on energy markets and dynamics along the supply chain.
