Stellantis: new Fastlane plan, €60 billion in investment and 60 new models by 2030

Milan, 21 May (LaPresse) – Stellantis today unveiled FaSTLAne 2030, its five-year strategic plan worth €60 billion designed to accelerate growth and profits. The pillars of FaSTLAne 2030, explains a statement, are the “more effective management of an unrivalled brand portfolio”, “investments in platforms, powertrains and global technologies”, “partnerships that complement Stellantis’ strengths”, “optimisation of the industrial footprint”, “excellence in execution” and “empowering regions and local teams”. The Company’s approach to managing its brand portfolio and product plan “has been revised to maximise capital efficiency, avoid duplication of expenditure and support profitability”. This will result, between now and 2030, “in over 60 new vehicle launches and 50 significant updates, across all brands and powertrain types, including 29 battery electric vehicles, 15 plug-in or range-extended hybrid electric vehicles, 24 hybrid electric vehicles and 39 vehicles with internal combustion engines or mild hybrid systems”.
