New York (New York, USA), 4 July. (LaPresse/AP) – Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have split up. The break-up was confirmed to various media outlets by their representatives. Publications such as People and USA Today cite a statement saying that the couple “have taken time apart over the last few months to focus on their shared parenthood” and that they will continue to appear in public with their daughter. The statement, attributed to representatives of both stars, said their priority will be to raise their daughter with ‘love, stability and mutual respect.’ The 40-year-old pop star and 48-year-old actor had been in a romantic relationship since 2016. The couple separated in 2017 but reconciled shortly afterwards, officially getting engaged on Valentine's Day 2019, as Perry revealed during an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. The two have a daughter together, Daisy Dove Bloom, born in 2020.
