Cinema, Jennifer Aniston: ‘Gwyneth Paltrow and I talk about our ex Brad Pitt’

Turin, Aug. 11 (LaPresse) – Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of the new issue of Vanity Fair. In a long interview, she discusses the importance of women supporting each other. Asked if she ever talks about Brad Pitt with her friend Gwyneth Paltrow, also an ex of the Hollywood actor, she replies: "Oh, sure, how could we not? We’re girls." Reflecting on her roots, she says: "I'm really grateful. I come from nothing. We were broke." Regarding her father, she shares: "I always sought his approval—it was what pushed me forward, but also my biggest disappointment." She hoped that if she made it as an actress, "he would love me as much as I loved him."
Aniston also addresses Matthew Perry’s addiction and the cast’s efforts to help him: "We did everything we could, when we could. But it almost felt like we were grieving him before he was gone, because that disease was such a tough battle. I'm glad he's no longer suffering." She concludes: "If there’s one area in my life where I’m not afraid, it’s work. I’m not afraid to say what I want—not aggressively or meanly, just because I know my worth."
