Rome, Jan. 13 (LaPresse) – Subsonica have announced their new single “Il Tempo in Me,” set for release on January 16 via Epic Records/Sony Music Italy, and already available for pre-save. The track anticipates their eleventh studio album, expected in the spring, and is conceived as a fusion of timeless Italian songwriting with contemporary club sounds, featuring orchestra and the full twelve notes of the voice, running 4’07”. The band reflects on the role of time in music and the current trend of songs lasting less than three minutes, emphasizing their intention to create something expansive that can speak to everyone.
At the same time, Subsonica are preparing to celebrate their 30th anniversary with “CIELI SU TORINO 96-26,” four special concerts at OGR Torino on March 31 and April 1, 3, and 4, 2026, with two shows already sold out. Each ticket will also grant access to a retrospective exhibition in the Duomo of OGR, featuring photos, memorabilia, instruments, and stage costumes, as well as a DJ set by the band at the end of each concert. The setlists will vary from night to night, offering a complete overview of the band’s 30-year career.
The celebration will also involve Turin and the Piedmont region, with exhibitions, events, and sound trails transforming the city into an open-air museum, highlighting the connection between the band and their territory.
