Cannes: Demi Moore, Zhao and Skarsgård on the Palme d'Or jury

Rome, 4 May (LaPresse) – Demi Moore, Chloé Zhao and Stellan Skarsgård are among the jury members who will decide the winner of the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The organisers announced this on Monday. With around a week to go before the start of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, scheduled for 12 May, the organisers have unveiled the nine-member jury that will judge the films in competition at the annual festival on the French Riviera. As previously announced, South Korean director Park Chan-wook is the jury president. Joining him, Moore, Zhao and Skarsgård on the jury are: Irish-Ethiopian actress Ruth Negga, Belgian director and screenwriter Laura Wandel, Chilean director and screenwriter Diego Céspedes, Ivorian-American actor Isaach De Bankolé and Scottish screenwriter Paul Laverty. The festival will take place from 12 to 23 May.
