Milan, March 4 (LaPresse) – Milan's Gup Rossana Mongiardo has accepted the request for Milan, Inter Milan and the Lega Serie A to join the civil action in the trial by abridged procedure against the leaders of the San Siro fans, who were arrested last September 30 in the ‘Doppia Curva’ operation by Milan's Anti-Mafia District Directorate. It is the decision that comes at the end of the first hearing of the trial held behind closed doors in the bunker room at Milan's San Vittore prison, where prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara Ombra contest the existence of two criminal associations aimed at injuries, beatings, resistance to public officials, and extortion in the stands of the Milan stadium. Against the Inter ultras is also contested the hypothesis of mafia facilitation of the Bellocco ‘ndranghetist cosca. Among the 19 defendants are the leader of the Sud, Luca Lucci (also in prison for drugs and as the instigator of the attempted murder of the ultras Enzo Anghinelli), the leader of the Nord, Andrea Beretta, arrested on 4 September 2024 for the murder of the ‘ndranghetist scion Antonio Bellocco in Cernusco sul Naviglio and who has chosen to cooperate with the magistrates, and the former leader of the Nord, Marco Ferdico. The next hearing has been set for 27 March. The Rossoneri club and the Lega Calcio had already turned themselves in on 20 February in the trial with ordinary rite in which only three members of the Milan curve are accused: Christian Rosiello (42), former bodyguard of rapper Fedez, Francesco Lucci (45), brother of the leader of the Rossoneri curva Sud, Luca Lucci, and Riccardo Bonissi (35).
