Milan, 28 March (LaPresse) – The Court of Milan will apply Judge Tiziana Gueli to the proceedings for aggravated fraud against the State (INPS) against Daniela Santanchè for the hearing of 20 May and for ‘all subsequent hearings necessary for the definition’ of the preliminary hearing. This was established by the President of the Court, Fabio Roia, with a reasoned decision after the hearing of 26 March, in which a postponement was ordered ‘for the defence's term’ for ‘objective reasons of study of the file’ by the new defence counsel of the Minister of Tourism, lawyer Salvatore Pino. The preliminary hearing judge Gueli, who will become a trial judge in the Ninth Criminal Section of Milan on 31 March, will maintain the preliminary hearing for Santanché, her partner Dimitri Kung and the former manager of Visibilia, Paolo Concordia, because ‘it is necessary to guarantee the principle of maintaining the judging body’ and the ‘knowledge of the acts in a proceeding that foresees, among other things, according to the accusation, facts at risk of prescription’.
