Milan, 11 Apr. (LaPresse) – Andrea Beretta has been arrested for the murder of Vittorio Boiocchi, the former head of Inter's fan base who was shot dead outside his home on the evening of 29 October 2022, before the Inter-Sampdoria match. The mobile squad of Milan has executed a pre-trial detention order against the leader of the Nord, already detained for criminal association and for the murder of ‘ndrangheta member Antonio Bellocco, and against 5 other people involved as perpetrators and instigators of the murder. The arrests ordered by the Milan investigating judge, Daniela Cardamone, were requested by the prosecutors of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate who are investigating the San Siro football stadium's ‘security contacts’ in particular on the basis of ‘precise evidence’ of the ‘accusatory statements’ made by Beretta, who has begun to collaborate with the magistrates, against himself and others. This was announced by the Milan Public Prosecutor, Marcello Viola, in a note announcing a press conference for Friday afternoon at 5 pm at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Milan. The charge of voluntary homicide with other persons is contested on the aggravating grounds of mafia methods.
