Milan: Trapper Simba La Rue arrested in Spain, he had fled after being convicted

Milan, 11 Apr. (Lapresse) – Mohamed Lamine Saida, aka Trapper Simba La Rue, was arrested today in Spain in execution of a warrant for his imprisonment for 7 years 3 months and 17 days issued by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office. The 22-year-old, whose sentence of 4 years and 6 months for the shooting on Corso Como on 3-4 July 2022 together with the trapper Baby Gang (2 years and 9 months) became final on 10 March, is the recipient of a cumulative sentence for fighting, armed robbery in concert, aggravated assault with weapons, illegal possession and illegal carrying of weapons. The Carabinieri of the Milan Investigative Unit and of the Duomo Company have announced that the artist had become ‘untraceable’, after the sentence of the Supreme Court, from his home in Merone, in the province of Como, despite being under special surveillance. The arrest, coordinated by the deputy attorney general of Milan Giuseppe De Benedetto, was carried out by the 22nd Organised Crime Group of the Unidad De Droga Y Crimen Organizado of Barcelona. Simba was located by the Milan Carabinieri in Castelldefels, near Barcelona, and they also identified some of the people who had helped him escape. He was taken to prison in Spain pending extradition.
