Rome: Prosecutor opens file on Minister Calderone’s degree

Rome, April 14 (LaPresse) – The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rome has opened a file classified as "model 45"—meaning there is no official suspicion of a crime or named suspects—regarding a complaint filed by Saverio Regasto, a professor at the University of Brescia, concerning the degree obtained by Labor Minister Marina Calderone from Link Campus University.

In his complaint, the professor of comparative public law requests verification of whether the minister’s academic qualifications were earned properly. Minister Calderone is being represented by lawyer Cesare Placanica.
