Turin, 17 April (LaPresse) – The bad weather situation in the city of Turin continues, constantly monitored by the Civil Protection's Municipal Operations Centre, which has been open since yesterday. As predicted, river levels are slowly rising. ‘At the moment, no particular criticalities are reported in the city, but as of tonight – as a precautionary measure – an ordinance has been issued to close the Murazzi to vehicular and pedestrian transit,’ the municipality explained in a note. The levels of all the other river courses are within their warning thresholds and, for the moment, no phenomena of instability are reported on the hillside territory. The Civil Protection of the City of Turin continues to closely monitor the evolution of weather conditions and river levels in the coming hours.
