Naples, 18 April (LaPresse) – The condition of the Israeli tourist injured in yesterday's accident on the Faito cable car, which caused the death of four people, remains critical but stable. The man, who is being treated at the Ospedale del Mare hospital in Naples, remains ‘stable but in a serious condition’, according to the hospital bulletin. The tourist suffered fractures to his lower limbs and tests carried out yesterday did not reveal any damage to his head or abdomen. This morning, he will undergo further tests to check whether the traumatic event has caused any damage that may become apparent even after several hours. ‘The patient remains intubated for airway protection and ventilatory support; he is currently on mechanical ventilation under deep sedation,’ the bulletin continues. The prognosis remains uncertain.
