Pope: Policlinico Gemelli, immense gratitude, will continue to guide us

Milan, April 21 (LaPresse) – ‘On the day of the transit to heaven of His Holiness Pope Francis, the family of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the Agostino Gemelli Irccs University Polyclinic Foundation gather in prayer to express deep gratitude and immense gratitude. The human sadness of this moment makes the example of Francis, the Pope who came ‘almost from the end of the world’ to revive the Church and give hope to the entire world, even more luminous’. Thus in a note Elena Beccalli, Rector of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Daniele Franco, President of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli Irccs and Monsignor Claudio Giuliodori, General Ecclesiastical Assistant of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore'. With regard to the Catholic University and the Policlinico Gemelli, the Holy Father has always expressed a special attention, which returned to manifest itself with warm affection and true joy, despite his frailty and illness, in the very recent meeting on 16 April in which he wished to say goodbye to the staff of the Policlinico who had assisted him for 38 days.
