Vatican City (Vatican), 22 April (LaPresse) – The funeral of Pope Francis will be held on Saturday 26 April at 10am, as announced by the Holy See: ‘On Saturday 26 April 2025 at 10am, the first day of the Novendiali, the funeral Mass of the Roman Pontiff Francis will be celebrated in St Peter's Basilica, in accordance with the Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis (nos. 82-109). The Exequial Liturgy will be presided over by His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals'.
