Turin, 3 May (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen took pole position in the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix ahead of Lando Norris‘ McLaren (+0.065) and Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes (+0.067). The Red Bull driver set a new track record of 1'26’204. Fourth place went to the other McLaren driven by Oscar Piastri, ahead of the other Mercedes driven by George Russell. Ferrari had a poor showing: Charles Leclerc finished eighth, more than half a second (+0.550) behind the Dutchman, while Lewis Hamilton was even further back, eliminated in Q2, and will start from twelfth place.
