Rome, May 12 (LaPresse) – The Rimini public prosecutor’s office has notified Louis Dassilva, the Senegalese national arrested on July 17, 2024, of the conclusion of the preliminary investigation. He is accused of the voluntary homicide of 78-year-old Pierina Paganelli, killed in the underground garages of a residential complex in the municipality of Rimini. On April 14, the investigating judge of Rimini, Vinicio Cantarini, rejected the request for release submitted by Dassilva’s lawyer, Riario Fabbri. In the official notice, the charge is voluntary homicide aggravated by premeditation, cruelty, vile and trivial motives, as well as committing the act at night and exploiting conditions of time, place, and the victim’s vulnerability, which hindered her ability to defend herself. Dassilva is represented by attorney Riario Fabbri.
