Naples, 14 May (LaPresse) – New earthquake in the Campi Flegrei. At 14:23, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at a depth of 2 km. The epicentre was located by the Vesuvius Observatory operations room near the Astroni crater, between the municipalities of Naples and Pozzuoli. The tremor was felt in the Phlegraean municipalities and in the western part of Naples. Yesterday, the Phlegraean Fields area was hit by a seismic swarm consisting of over 40 tremors, with a maximum magnitude of 4.4.
