Milan, June 8 (LaPresse) – A young man was stabbed to death on a beach in Varcaturo, in the province of Caserta. Police patrols have already arrested a 19-year-old suspected of the attack, who is currently at the police station in Castel Volturno. According to initial reports, the victim—Nicola Mirti, an 18-year-old from Mugnano (Naples)—was struck multiple times at a beach resort located on the border between Giugliano (Naples) and Castel Volturno (Caserta). Rescued by a passing ambulance, the young man was rushed to the hospital in Pozzuoli in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead. Police investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances and determine the motive of the quarrel.
