Milan, June 8 (LaPresse) – An 82-year-old man shot his wife, killing her. The man then called emergency services via 112. The incident occurred this morning in Lecce, in a villa on Via Bonifacio Bernardino, in the San Pio district.
Upon arrival, the carabinieri arrested the man, who was taken to the police station.
According to an initial reconstruction, the husband, Luigi Quarta, shot his wife, Amelia Quarta, 83 years old, in the head with a legally owned firearm.
The femicide reportedly occurred at the height of an argument.
