Milan, June 24 (LaPresse) – Electronic bracelets are missing, and so DJ Alessandro Basciano, accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend Sophie Codegoni, remains without the device. According to reports, the 35-year-old has not yet been fitted with the remote monitoring device, following the confirmation of the measure by the Court of Cassation, postponing the enforcement until the device becomes available.
In mid-June, the DJ, accused of verbal and physical threats against the 23-year-old former contestant of GF Vip and Uomini & Donne, was located at the airport upon his return to Italy from abroad, and the order for the device’s application was served to him. However, the bracelet could not be installed immediately due to the lack of available devices and ‘slots’.
Legal sources explain that this is a common practice affecting many ‘red code’ cases and gender-related crimes, where financial resources and framework agreements with suppliers for the Ministry of Justice struggle to keep up with the high number of orders and measures imposed by judges.
