Milan, August 20 (LaPresse) — The local police in Milan have arrested the mother of two boys involved in a fatal car accident on August 11 that killed 71-year-old Cecilia De Astis in via Saponaro. The 33-year-old woman, mother of the minor who was driving, was detained today in the gardens of viale Cermenate and taken to San Vittore prison to serve a sentence of 3 years and 10 months for previous crimes, including thefts from 2017 to 2019. She was found in possession of over 130 grams of gold jewelry and 1,500 euros in cash. The woman has also been reported for receiving stolen goods.
