Silvana Damato dies in Milan, family lawyer: “Investigation complex, no certain data”

Milan, Aug. 26 (LaPresse) – “The investigation is ongoing, there is strict confidentiality, and the family also appreciates that it is maintained. We rely on everyone’s careful assessment. The inquiry is certainly complex and being conducted from all angles,” said lawyer Walter Felice, who represents the family of Silvana Damato, the 69-year-old found dead in the bathtub of her apartment on Via Bisnati in Milan on August 8. He spoke to journalists during a site inspection by the RIS Carabinieri from Parma.

“At the moment, there is no certain data to report. It is a puzzle to be pieced together, which includes the cellphone, phone records, on-scene investigations, the forensic examination, and the work of the medical examiner. Only by putting all the pieces together can a complete picture be obtained,” the lawyer added. “We do not want to compromise the leads, so I cannot provide information that would not be reliable. At this time, we have no decisive elements to report. We will wait for the results of the checks and conclusions, and then we will make our own assessments,” he concluded.
