Reggio Emilia: 41-year-old dies after being stopped with taser by police

Rome, Sept. 15 (LaPresse) – A 41-year-old man, with a criminal record, died this morning at the Santa Maria Nuova hospital in Reggio Emilia after being stopped by police with a taser. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. in the hamlet of Massenzatico, in the province of Reggio Emilia. According to initial reports, the 41-year-old allegedly had a fit of rage. Despite resuscitation attempts by emergency services, the man died shortly after being admitted to hospital. The Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation and forensic police are working to reconstruct the dynamics of the events.
