Naples, 27 September (LaPresse) – Tourists in Italy during the summer of 2025 increased by 6.22% compared to the previous year. This is confirmed by data from “Alloggiati web”, the Ministry of the Interior's database. From 21 June to 21 September 2025, 71,678,640 people stayed in accommodation facilities; in the same period in 2024, the figure was 67,484,163. There was an increase in both Italian visitors, from 29,602,385 to 30,714,385 (+3.76%), and foreign visitors (from 37,881,778 to 40,964,255, +8.14%). It also emerges that both hotels (from 36,046,425 to 37,034,814, +2.74%) and non-hotel accommodation (from 31,437,738 to 34,643,826, +10.2%) benefited from the strengthening of the market.
