Rome: fire in abandoned building, at least one person injured

Rome, 11 November (LaPresse) – Rome Capital Local Police patrols intervened this morning in Via Cesare Tallone, where a fire broke out inside several abandoned buildings. According to initial reports, at least one person was injured. The first to respond and raise the alarm were officers from the SPE (Public Safety and Emergency) Unit, who were passing through the area and alerted the fire brigade. Other patrols from the V Gruppo Casilino white helmets arrived on the scene and are still engaged in securing the area and managing traffic, providing assistance to the fire brigade. Via Cesare Tallone has been closed to traffic, with access also prohibited from Via di Tor Cervara.
