Turin: incites patrols against foreigners, social media profiles seized

Rome, 27 November (LaPresse) – The Turin Police Headquarters executed a preventive seizure order for the crimes of incitement to commit a crime and usurpation of public functions on public social media profiles, followed by thousands of followers, through which an individual published numerous videos commenting on incidents involving criminal acts committed by foreigners, highlighting the need to organise “patrols” to curb the phenomenon, while also publicising those carried out in this province and in other Italian cities. As part of the same investigation, this person had already been subjected to a house search for carrying out patrols in the suburbs of Turin in order to remove individuals allegedly involved in drug dealing, even perpetrating actual physical assaults, with a serious risk to the safety of the recipients of the violent actions and the perpetrators themselves.
