Milan, 8 January (LaPresse) – The interrogation of Emilio Gabriel Valdez Velazco, the 57-year-old Peruvian suspected of the murder of Aurora Livoli, the 19-year-old found dead on the morning of 29 December in a courtyard in Via Rivolta in Milan, has begun in San Vittore prison in Milan. The man, already in prison on remand for a robbery committed against a fellow countrywoman, also 19 years old like Aurora Livoli, asked in recent days to be interrogated, probably to tell his version of events. Further investigations by the Carabinieri have led to serious evidence of Velazco's guilt in connection with the discovery of the body of the 19-year-old from Latina. Massimiliano Migliara, the man's lawyer, made no statements at the entrance to the prison, limiting himself to saying to the many reporters waiting: “I sympathise with the cold you will have to endure”, suggesting that it will be a long interrogation.
