Parma, 24 April. (LaPresse) – The Assize Court of Parma imposed on Chiara Petrolini a total sentence of 24 years and 3 months in prison, in addition to the payment of court costs, at the end of a deliberation session that lasted more than three hours. The 22-year-old from Traversetolo was on trial accused of causing the death of her two newborn children, whose bodies were then hidden in the garden of her home. The judges instead declared her not guilty in relation to the death of her first child. Petrolini was also sentenced to pay damages to her ex-boyfriend Samuel Gramelli and his parents, Cristian Gramelli and Sonia Canrossi.
