Garlasco, Milan Prosecutor General: "We will study the documents but it will not be quick or easy"

Milan, Apr. 24 (LaPresse) – The Prosecutor General’s Office of Milan will study the files of the Pavia investigation into the Garlasco murder and Andrea Sempio and only at the end of this in-depth analysis will it assess whether to request further investigative acts, before deciding whether or not to submit to the Brescia Court of Appeal a request for revision of the trial for Alberto Stasi. This was stated to journalists by Prosecutor General Francesca Nanni at the end of a meeting with Pavia prosecutor Fabio Napoleone and Milan deputy prosecutor Lucilla Tondotonati. “We will evaluate whether to request further acts,” said Nanni, “we must first carefully study the documents, we cannot make any further statements for the purposes of a possible revision of the trial, because we obviously must first study the files. It will not be a quick or easy study.” According to Nanni, who among her duties also oversees the activity of all ordinary prosecutors in the Milan judicial district, in the coming weeks prosecutor Napoleone will send to “our office” a report on what has been done so far.
