Heat Wave: Red Alert in 4 Cities on Thursday

Rome, May 27 (LaPresse) – Tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, temperatures will reach critical levels in four Italian cities, according to the Ministry of Health’s monitoring: Bologna, Florence, Rome, and Turin will be under a red alert. Pescara is under an orange alert, while nearly all other monitored cities will be under a yellow alert: Ancona, Bari, Bolzano, Brescia, Cagliari, Catania, Civitavecchia, Frosinone, Genoa, Latina, Messina, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Trieste, Venice, Verona, and Viterbo. Campobasso remains the only city under a green alert. An improvement is expected for Friday, May 29: no city will be on red alert, and only Genoa will remain on orange alert.
