Genoa, 3 June (LaPresse) – “She answered all the questions; the questioning was very blunt and direct, lasting about an hour and a half. She became emotional on several occasions. She denied ever having hit the child and denied any abuse.” This was stated to La Presse by Laura Corbetta, the lawyer representing Emanuela Aiello, the mother of little Beatrice, the two-year-old girl who died on 9 February in Bordighera. The woman appeared before the judge today for questioning, after which she was transferred back to the prison in Turin where she is being held.
