Rome, April 30 (LaPresse) – "The government has always prioritized workplace safety in its actions. We have done so, for example, with the credit-based license, with the hiring of new inspection staff to increase controls, and with resources to reward companies that invest in prevention."
This was stated by the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, in a video shared on social media at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting.
"Today, we dedicate Labor Day to this issue, and we are committed to doing even more," emphasized the premier, announcing that "together with Inail, we have secured an additional 650 million euros to implement new concrete measures. Along with the 600 million euros already available from the Inail funding to co-finance businesses' investments in these areas, this brings the total resources available to over 1.2 billion euros to improve workplace safety."
