Rome, May 26 (LaPresse) – Pietro Bitetti, the center-left mayoral candidate in Taranto (supported by the Democratic Party, AVS, and six other lists), holds a clear lead over center-right challenger Luca Lazzàro (backed by FdI, FI, Nm, and the Liberal Party). This is according to the first Opinio exit poll for Rai. Bitetti leads with a vote share between 37% and 41%, while Lazzàro trails with 20% to 24%. Following are Francesco Tacente (centrist coalition) with 19–23% and Annagrazia Angolano (M5S) with 9–13%.
