Labour, Fratoianni: "Families can’t cope anymore, we propose 'Unlock Salaries'"

Rome, Sept 1 (LaPresse) – "We propose that salaries in our country be automatically adjusted annually for inflation. If everything increases, if the cost of living rises: if bread, water, and milk cost more, if energy costs more, if rent goes up, salaries must increase as well." This was stated by Nicola Fratoianni of Avs in an interview with Tg3. Then the focus shifted to European Union spending.
"The EU Commission’s rearmament plan is 800 billion euros wasted. We need to defend Europe from those who wish it harm, but to do so we must invest in research, in artificial intelligence, an area from which we are completely excluded. We must invest in strengthening welfare and public healthcare, in reinforcing education and employment," Fratoianni concluded.
