Separation of careers: ANM, committee formed to campaign for a “No” vote in the referendum

Milan, 14 September (LaPresse) – “In defence of the Constitution and for a 'No” vote in the referendum'. A committee has been set up to implement the decisions taken by the National Magistrates Association ahead of the 2026 referendum on the constitutional bill first signed by Nordio. According to its statute, the committee's "immediate goal is to raise public awareness of the risks arising from the constitutional reform on career separation and the importance of preserving the current system of guarantees of citizens' rights and, therefore, to promote the victory of the “No” vote in the constitutional referendum. It may also decide to participate in any cultural, media and information initiatives on the referendum. The Committee is open to all citizens but not to party representatives or former politicians. According to the Statute, in fact, members of the committee may be “retired representatives of the ordinary, administrative and accounting judiciary, university professors and researchers, representatives of the legal profession, associations and civil society, and citizens who fully share the aims of the committee”.
