Johannesburg (South Africa), 24 November (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is in Angola to attend the 7th European Union-African Union Summit. After leaving Johannesburg, the venue of the G20 summit, the Prime Minister arrived overnight at Luanda's “4 de Fevereiro” international airport. Meloni and the Italian delegation were welcomed at the airport by an Angolan government minister, the Governor of Luanda, and the Italian Ambassador to Angola, Marco Ricci. This morning, before the start of the EU-AU summit, a special meeting has been convened by European Council President Antonio Costa to take stock of the Ukraine dossier in the presence of EU leaders.
