Ukraine, Meloni at EU leaders' meeting: ‘Trump open to discussion on US plan’

(LaPresse) – The meeting of European Union leaders on Ukraine, held on the sidelines of the EU-UA summit in Angola, was an opportunity for European leaders to take stock of the Ukrainian dossier following yesterday's meeting in Geneva. Among other things, according to sources at Palazzo Chigi, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni highlighted US President Donald Trump's “openness” to “discussions with partners on the 28-point peace plan proposed by the US administration”. The Prime Minister also reiterated “Italy's commitment to building a concrete path towards a just peace in Ukraine”.
