Rome, 15 January (LaPresse) – "There is one thing we want to make very clear: the League – as Minister Crosetto has also said – will never accept the deployment of Italian troops to Ukraine. This is the promise we make in this Chamber. Our commitment is and will remain limited to helping the Ukrainian people through humanitarian aid and defensive systems, without the involvement of our armed forces in operations on the ground." These were the words of Lega MP Eugenio Zoffili during his voting statements following Defence Minister Guido Crosetto's communications on the Ukraine decree.
