Centre-left, Patuanelli (M5S): "For the leader, vote at the gazebos and online"

Rome, Apr. 11 (LaPresse) – "For us, the priority is to build a programme to govern the country. Once the programme is shared by everyone, it will only be a matter of choosing the best interpreter to implement it." This was stated by M5S vice president Stefano Patuanelli, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, speaking about the future of the centre-left. "I understand that it is journalistically interesting to see divisions in the opposition, but ours is a serious and united path," he added. "And I reiterate that the priority is precisely the process, the construction of a coalition committed to improving the country." As for primaries, "there are many models. For me, what we experimented with in Sicily in 2022, with online voting and at the gazebos, can be replicated. Then whether it will be one or two rounds remains to be seen."
