Center-left, Bonaccini: "Primaries? A program and a plan for Italy are needed"

Rome, Apr 14 (LaPresse) – "If we start talking about primaries, we risk spending months discussing names and surnames instead of dealing with the country’s problems." This was stated by Stefano Bonaccini, MEP and Democratic Party president, on 'Ping Pong' on Rai Radio1. "What I believe is needed now is to bring together all the opposition forces to the Meloni government, open up to real society, including those who do not identify with political parties but who, as in the last referendum, have shown themselves to be clearly opposed to this government, and try to build a program for Italy. A program that cannot be just against Meloni and the right: that is not enough, we need to build a project for Italy, for a country that in my view is a little fairer and more competitive than the current one," he concluded.
