Government, Meloni: "Geopolitical tensions will impact growth."

Rome, 13 May. (LaPresse) – “I believe that in your question there is a point of sharing from which to start, which is clearly the situation in which we find ourselves, the fact that there is an economic, international, particularly complex framework and that the geopolitical tensions that we continue to experience will affect, as they are already affecting, growth, energy costs, the competitiveness of companies, on the purchasing power of families and which, clearly, is not an easy time, there should be less room for controversy and more room for concrete discussion on the major strategic issues affecting Italy”. This was Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's statement during question time in the Senate, responding to a question presented by Azione leader Carlo Calenda regarding the establishment of a control room at Palazzo Chigi open to opposition forces available to address the country's strategic priorities.
