Fn, Vannacci: ‘Alliance with the centre-right? It would just further Draghi’s agenda’

Rome, 13 June (LaPresse) – "The press has been full of reports that Fn is on the left, voting with Zan and Fratoianni; they’ve called us ‘useful idiots’. They say we’re helping the left, that we’re their crutch. They tell us to stop and join this centre-right alliance, but why should I join this centre-right alliance that keeps pushing Draghi’s agenda, the Green Deal or the common debt?” So said Roberto Vannacci, opening the first national assembly of Futuro Nazionale in Rome. The general then recalled being reprimanded “for not voting in favour of confidence” in the Meloni government and went on to list all the times in Europe when “Forza Italia voted against, alongside the PD, M5S and AVS”, measures deemed right-wing by the FN leader.
