Football: Rome Prosecutor Requests Trial for De Laurentiis Over Alleged False Accounting in Transfer Deals

Rome, Feb. 19 (LaPresse) – The Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office has requested that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis be sent to trial. The alleged offense is false accounting related to the purchase of Kostas Manolas from Roma in 2019 and the artificially inflated capital gains generated in the acquisition of Victor Osimhen from Lille.

The prosecutors leading the investigation are Giorgio Orano and Lorenzo Del Giudice.
