Rome, March 14 (LaPresse) – The Serie A matches Bologna-Inter, Milan-Atalanta, and Empoli-Venezia, all part of Matchday 33, will be played on Easter Sunday, April 20. This decision was made by Lega Serie A, which has released the schedule of early and postponed fixtures from Matchday 31 to 33, considering the various club commitments.
The match at the Dall'Ara stadium will take place at 18:00, while the San Siro clash is scheduled for 20:45. Meanwhile, Empoli-Venezia will kick off at 15:00. The last two occasions Serie A matches were played on Easter Sunday were in 2004 with Perugia-Inter and in 2009 with Reggina-Udinese. The scheduling also had to take into account Coppa Italia fixtures.
Inter will play the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Bayern on Wednesday, April 16, and will then face Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final return leg on Wednesday, April 23, at 21:00. The other Coppa Italia semi-final between Bologna and Empoli is set for Thursday, April 24, also at 21:00.
