Milan, May 20 (LaPresse) – A positive, albeit somewhat complicated, debut for Flavio Cobolli at the 'Bitpanda Hamburg Open' (ATP 500 – prize money €2,158,560), currently underway on the clay courts of the Rothenbaum Tennis Stadium in Hamburg, Germany. On a day that was far from spectacular, the 23-year-old from Rome, ranked No. 35 ATP and recently a quarterfinalist at the Challenger 175 in Turin, came from behind to defeat Ukraine’s Vitaliy Sachko (world No. 235), a lucky loser, with a score of 5–7, 6–2, 6–2 after more than two and a half hours of rather scrappy tennis.
