The Spaniard, ranked number 2 in the world and in the tournament, defeated American Tommy Paul, ranked 12th in the ATP rankings, in straight sets and will now face Italian Lorenzo Musetti. Alcaraz won with a score of 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 in one hour and 36 minutes.
